Meet Dr. Vangala
Dr. Vangala is a native of India and has 22 years of experience as a pediatrician. He graduated from the prestigious and competitive Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. Further, he did pediatric residency training at the Niloufer Hospital for Women and Children.
He worked at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Sheffield Children’s Hospital in Sheffield, England. During that time, he worked in acute care settings and community settings. He was a member of the Royal College of Pediatrics, United Kingdom. After moving to the USA, he finished a residency program at the University of Connecticut and West Virginia.
Dr. Vangala has in-depth knowledge about child development and illness. His areas of interest are newborn care, asthma, child development, ADHD, autism, obesity, and adolescent medicine. Dr. Vangala is well-experienced and knowledgeable. He served as medical director in his previous job before moving to Dallas. He was an adjunct faculty of the Oklahoma State University Residency program in his last job.
He is passionate about his work and always keeps abreast of the latest developments in his field of practice. He has been married for 21 years, and as a parent raising their son and daughter, he is aware of the rewards and challenges of parenthood. He brings compassion in his interactions with families.
Dr. Vangala is passionate about caring for children to help them thrive as productive adults. True to the name of the practice Global Pediatrics, he believes in both the physical and psychological well-being of children, a true global care.
He speaks English, Hindi, and Telugu. He is board-certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In his spare time, Dr. Vangala likes to spend time with his family, read books, and spend time outdoors biking, hiking, kayaking, and skiing.
