Understanding Our Billing Process and Financial Policies

At Global Pediatrics, we strive to provide the highest level of care for your family. As a part of your relationship with Global Pediatrics, please read the financial policy below to get yourself a handle on your financial obligations. We have in-house specialists who are trained to answer any of your questions pertaining to your financial obligations and insurance issues. If you have questions about your insurance coverage, please call your insurance company prior to your visit.

It Is Your Responsibility...

  • To know the limits and coverage of your particular health insurance policy
  • To show your cards to us at each visit
  • To pay any copays at the time of service

Autopay

As a convenience to our patients and to simplify the billing process, we require the use of autopay, which is a credit card on file. Please refer to our financial policy.

Self Pay

At Global Pediatrics, we work with families that prefer to pay directly for services or do not have insurance. For such patients, a time-of-service discount will be applied to the bill if settled in full on the day of service. For more information, please refer to Global Pediatrics financial policy.

Appointment Policies

We try to accommodate same-day visits for sickness on the same day. We encourage families to make appointments. Walk-ins are discouraged as they cause a delay in providing services to our patients waiting to be seen. While walk-ins are accepted. Cancellations less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.

Late Arrivals:

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the visit to do the necessary pre-visit paperwork. Please bring your ID and insurance card. If you arrive more than 10 min late to the office, we will try to accommodate your child the same day if an appropriate slot is available the same day.

Cancellations:

Please make appointment changes no later than 24 hours (one business day) before your appointment. Please refer to our financial policy for more information.

After Hour Care:

If your child’s illness or injury is life-threatening, call 911. Examples include but are not limited to severe breathing trouble, appearing pale or blue, seizures, unconsciousness, severe bleeding, etc. For urgent matters that cannot wait until morning, please get in touch with Dr. Vangala before 10 PM using the office phone number. The doctor will respond based on the situation. A telemedicine visit may be required.
